I hard boiled a dozen eggs, then soaked them in equal parts cold water & white vinegar for 20 minutes, and let dry completely. Then we rolled each egg in cool whip with a few drops of food coloring and let sit for at least 30 minutes in the color mix for vibrant colors. Rinse and let dry. These turned out really cute and colorful.
