My mom started doing these in the 1970’s when she was a teacher at Head Start. The fun part is getting your little one to sit still while you draw the outline of their shadow – haha! There are other ways to do this that don’t require as much sitting time, such as taking a photo of the shadow silhouette, printing it and cutting it on black paper. I made my own frames by cutting some gold sparkle paper.
