Make your own crystal forever flowers with some borax, water and pipe cleaners.
Boil your water and then add borax to create your solution – I usually use 5 Tbsp per 1 cup of water, but you can add more if you’d like.

Cut your green stems and wrap the flower part at the top in whatever design you’d like. I also added little leafs on my stems.

I tied my flowers to a popsicle stick using string and dropped them into a large jar – careful not to let it touch the bottom or sides of jar. Then pour your borax hot water solution into the jar, completely covering the flower. Put a towel on top to keep the heat in the jar – this will slow the cooling process and create bigger crystals. You can also reheat the solution after you are done and reuse, just add a few more Tbsp of borax.

After about 12 hours I pulled mine out and let them dry on a towel. You can let them sit in the solution for 24 hours if preferred for larger crystals.

They make a pretty little bouquet
